LOVE VS. HATE
Sooner or later you’re going to have to choose.
In three days we have resurrected hate from the glory of love. On Friday April 29, 2011 the entire world celebrated the marriage of royalty. Millions worldwide participated in person with Prince William and Kate Middleton with another 26 million rejoicing in front of their televisions. Everyone wanted to be a part of the loving ceremony.
On Sunday evening, my Twitter account began whirling about the death of a known terrorist before formal news accounts confirmed the story. The world had changed from love to hate in less than 72 hours. Celebrations of a different kind were being reported at Times Square, Ground Zero and in front of the White House.
Since the beginning the story has always been the same. Love versus hate. Observing opposing forces is easy. The next step is personal. You have to make a choice.
Another decision maker, Martin Luther King, put it this way, “…hate can not drive out hate only love can do that.”
To ascend you are invited to participate in the greatest of personal decisions. Will you act in love? Letting go of your past is a prerequisite to your accepting the highest forms of love. Then you are free.

Twitter @WestonJolly on May 1, 2011 I tweeted; “We can do better than put our hearts and minds on violent action. ‘Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that’. -Martin Luther King”
